Our hands are naturally oily…The oil residue from our hands can cause premature failure of the lamp if the front side of the lamp is not wiped down after the installation. It doesn’t hurt to do a final wipe with a clean, non-abrasive, lint-free cloth before reinstalling your lamp…

To replace this lamp, it is recommended that the connectors for the lamp are already attached.
Because the wiring is sensitive, some lamp retailers and e-tailers may require you to cut or re-attach these delicate components.
DO NOT CUT ballast wires! We recommend that you simply use a new set, or you may have problems later on.
