Tools Required: 1 Phililps screwdriver, 1 Pair of Pliers, & A new lamp.

Time Required: About 15 minutes.

Abstract: This guide is being published to show how easy it is to replace your original SAMSUNG BP96-01074A Lamp.

NOTE: We recommend you to use latex gloves when handling the new bulb to avoid any dirt or oil. Our hands are naturally oily…The oil residue from our hands can cause premature failure of the lamp if the front side of the lamp is not wiped down after the installation. It doesn’t hurt to do a final wipe with a clean, non-abrasive, lint-free cloth before reinstalling your lamp…

	SAMSUNG BP96-01074A Lamp casing			1.- Let’s begin by turning the enclosure upside down, and you’ll notice two screws on opposite corners.
	2.- Now with your Philips screw driver take both screws out.			3.- Lift the casing cover and the bulb will be exposed like such.
	4.- Take your screwdriver to remove the screw conjoining the side of the lamp to a plastic cable from the connector.			5.- Disconnect the cable place at the side of the lamp, with a Philips screwdriver.
	6.- If you look closely you’ll notice four screws securing a lamp holder one on each corner.			7.- Remove them one by one until the lamp holder is set loose.
	8.- Displace the lamp holder, by pulling it up.			9.- Pull out the old bulb from the lamp’s base.
	A.- Ready your new PHILIPS E22 UHP 100W/120W 1.0 bulb.			B.- Place it inside the bulb’s base as accordantly.
	C.- Insert the lamp holder to the bottom of the lamp.			D.- Install the four screws that tighten the lamp holder.
	E.- To reconnect the cable to the top terminal you’ll have to reinstall the screw that joins them together.			F.- Continue by securing the cable to the side of the lamp, using your screwdriver.
	G.- Place the lamp cover back in its original place and screw it back on.			H.- And we are Finished, Congratulations.!

IMPORTANT: After installing the replacement bulb, you should wipe it with a clean cloth to avoid any dirt or oil. Our hands are naturally oily…this could reduce considerably the life span of the new lamp.
