Tools Required: Standard Philips or Flathead screwdriver, Pair of Pliers, A new lamp.

Time Required: About 15 minutes.

Abstract: This guide is being published to show how easy it is to replace your original Philips 312243871310 Lamp.

NOTE: We recommend you to use latex gloves when handling the new bub, to avoid any dirt or oil. Our hands are naturally oily…The oil residue from our hands can cause premature failure of the lamp if the front side of the lamp is not wiped down after the installation. It doesn’t hurt to do a final wipe with a clean, non-abrasive, lint-free cloth before reinstalling your lamp…

	Philips 312243871310U Lamp Enclosure			1.- Turn your enclosure upside down, so the bulb will be facing the surface.
	2.- Using a Philips screwdriver, disconnect the cable placed to the side of the lamp.			3.- With a pair of pliers, uninstall the nut from the top of the lamp and disconnect the cable.
	4.- Now remove the lamp holder clip by pressing it down and pulling it out to the side.			5.- Remove your old lamp, by pulling it out.
	A.- After removing your old bulb take out your new one, wich will look something like this.			B.-Install your new Philips P22 UHP 120W 1.0 Lamp lamp to the lamp holder.
	C.- Place back the lamp holder clip to its original position.			D.- Reinstall the cable to the top of the lamp, by tightening the nut.
	E.- Reconnect the cable on the side of the lamp with the screw.			F.- And you’re finished, Congratulations!

IMPORTANT: After installing the replacement bulb, you should wipe it with a clean cloth to avoid any dirt or oil. Our hands are naturally oily…this could reduce considerably the life span of the new lamp.
